The C9 International Avatar Creator helps you create an international avatar such as pioneered by Jamie. Also included is the Template Editor, which allows you to easily modify and create templates for the Avatar Creator. Additional templates are available in the Template Library.

The download below is the source code. ClickOnce installation as well as a download containing just the binaries is available on the C9 International Avatar Creator home page.

Also check out the wiki for more information. You can also use the wiki for bug reports and feature requests.

thanks for the software sven and for jamie for christmas templates . i just realised how bad i m with paint or paint.net when it comes to creating avatars. and love the clickonce feature too . keep the good work Smiley

Web Services is vague... we have web services, we have lots of web services... we just don't have what you want Smiley

What specific function do you need to enable this feature of your app?

Something like SetAvatar(string username, string apikey, byte[] newImage)?

I would also love to have the functionality to allow updating my avatar via a webservice. right now the method that we have discovered (Sven and I) is that there is a method setAvatar but you need somehow to figure out a cookie (of live id) to get it working. Would be cool if something like: setAvatar(string username, string password, byte[] image) would work...
