Frankly, The new C9 is almost unusable and not a joy to visit at all. Not only for lack of essential forum functionality alone, but because it's TOO SLOW! It's like a lottory. Sometimes, I click and it's fast. Sometimes I click and weeeeeeee, it goes to sleep for like 30 seconds. Each click then takes average 10 seconds to respond.

I'm not sure why this is happening. Too few server? Too much load on the servers? Bad line? Bad "AJAX" components? Something is wrong. I got a 100/100 line, Q6600 CPU, so it isn't my line nor my PC.

The old C9 was a bit slow, but no way close to this. I am not sure for how long I can take this slowness.
Today it is really slow (right now). It takes like 20-40 seconds to open any one of the pages... Whereas other websites, like microsoft.com, google.com, news sites, gamespot.com take seconds... strange.
You're using it. QED.

That said: the site is really slow today. Here's hoping they're updating stuff for Go To Last Post. Tongue Out
Seems like some new bugs to me... it's incredible slow today. It's really hard to even open the Coffeehouse or any other forum. Not to speak about saving a post - it takes like 1-2 minutes for me.
Strange... we haven't deployed any changes for a few days now, and the last change as a new CSS file... so in reality it has been nearly a week since any update that could cause a perf difference. I'll check the server logs and try to determine if some new errors have cropped up.

I'm also very curious about the cause... It was also reported by Sven Groot (he's in Japan)... seemed like to be a world wide problem.

World is coming to an end perhaps?

(yes, it was slow for me in the morn as well)
