The "regular" Sign-In  http://channel9.msdn.com/SignIn/  [ Not live ID ], IE doesn't ask me to save a password. Not sure if it's my IE or C9.

Can you send me a screenshot (or post it)? When I hit that page in IE 7 I get the checkbox to save the password...

ok... now that I think about it, I misinterpreted your comment... you mean that IE doesn't pop up the 'remember this password for later?' style dialog... interesting. I wonder how IE determines that you are entering a password? Knowing that would probably help me figure out why it doesn't recognize our case Smiley

Yeah, the IE dialog doesn't popup. It pops up for all other sites which I use in IE, like Gmail. Not sure why. I tried paste the password, I tried typing it. Still the dialog won't show up for some strange reason. No big deal though, but I'm very curious why this happens.
