Vista has a powerful cheat, though it costs you a loss in your records:
For Vista minesweeper, you have the option to replay the last board (exactly as it was)... so just find a bomb, screenshot/jot down all the mines and replay the last board. Then just go through each spot and either click it or right click it based on the convenient map you have now.
I know it doesn't prevent a loss in the stats like the other cheat does, but it is 100% effective and doesn't rely on you noticing a pixel... You can ensure a 50% winning stat at least and still play the game normally 50% of the time.
