I know I'm tooting my own horn here, but I was just replying to a thread and for some reason it timed out, showed me a dialog saying AddComment failed and then re-enabled all the editor controls.  I clicked the Add button again and it posted my reply.  No duplicates and I didn't lose what I typed and moved on with my day, er...night.  Take that old C9!  Smiley

Yeah, I've noticed that too. No more duplicate posts, yay!

Edit: This was meant as a reply to you HC, but i'm not able to correct that with Edit...is that a known issue or a missing feature?

Yah!  I actually just fixed a bug tonight (hasn't been deployed yet).  We have code that checks for duplicate posts (within a short time period with the same body text), but we weren't doing anything in the UI if we didn't add your new post because it was recognized as a duplicate.  Now if somehow our UI gets confused and tries to add a duplicate, you'll get some feedback telling you "not added" and why.
