I have a fix for some of the user problems we've been having and I tried it out on your account.

Can you make sure you can do the following:
1) Log in but log out first (Let me know if you use LiveID or Old School Auth)
2) Post a reply to this.

I can see your profile just fine and all the data seems to have moved okay but I want to make sure there aren't any lurking issues before I do this to the 7900 other people who have this bug.

I use my LiveID.

Also, I also see my profile, threads, edit button.

I started running the data fix today but it's quite intensive on the DB server and is going to take about an hour.  The site gets slow while I'm running it so I wanted to wait.

I'm going to kick it off tonight around 10 or 11pm Pacific time. Sorry those in non-US timezones Sad
If you could let us/me know in this thread when it's done...I'd like to try my old account.

Nope.  Just us and again that's going away.  Full name will, however, always show up on anybody's profile (that sets the field).

Bad News: Something happened to my machine last night so I couldn't run the user update query of doom.

Good News: We have our DB CPU usage down so low (sub 10%) that I've actually been running it for the past hour or so and it hasn't hurt site perf.
